Projects
In Eemshaven, construction is underway to build three Energy power plants, a storage facilities for oil and gas and a bio-energy power plant in Delfzijl. These projects will create one of the largest demand for technical labour in the Netherlands, with projections of approximately 6000 workers over a period of 3 to 5 years.
The following projects are currently being built in Eemshaven en Delfzijl:
NUON Magnum
- Type of project: Gas-fired Power Plant
- Generation: 1200 MW
- Duration of build: 2010 - 2013
- Investment: 1.8 Billion Euros
Acquired Projects
Electrical and cable installation Project
Currently GT Workforce is providing personnel for several disciplines for a cable installation project for our client at the NUON Magnum site in Eemshaven. Our client is a specialist in consulting, planning and commissioning of a power supply system.
For this project several disciplines have been supplied including fitters, electricians and cable layers.
Catering Project
Currently GT Workforce, in collaboration with GT Food Supplies, has acquired a catering project for a large amount of workers at the NUON Magnum site in Eemshaven. We are serving for more than 1000 persons daily a warm lunch.
RWE / Essent
- Type of project: Pulverised coal Power Plant
- Generation: 1600 MW
- Duration of build: 2009 - 2013
- Investment: 2.4 Billion Euros
Acquired Projects
Electrical and cable installation Project
Currently GT Workforce is providing personnel for several disciplines for a cable installation project at the RWE site in Eemshaven. Our client is a specialist in electrical and cable installation and cable laying and connection work.
For this project several disciplines have been supplied including fitters and cable layers.
Future Projects:
Piping construction Project
Currently GT Workforce is acquiring, in close cooperation with a local subcontractor a project with a large contractor at the RWE site in Eemshaven. Our client will perform the construction of the high-pressure piping for the RWE power plant
For this project several disciplines will be provided such as pipefitter, assembly workers and welders.
Vopak Oilterminals
- Type of project: Oil Terminals for storage of strategic oil stocks
- 46 tanks (2.5 million m3).
- Duration of build: 2011 - 2013
- Investment: 600 Million Euros
Acquired Projects
Dredging Project in Eemshaven
Currently GT Workforce is providing personnel for several disciplines for a dredging project in Eemshaven. The harbour will be deepened and widened for the large coal & oil vessels for the projects of NUON, RWE and VOPAK. Our client is a large specialist in dredging. For this project we supply deckhands.
Future Projects
Piping street construction
GT Workforce will provide personnel to a local subcontractor for the construction of a underground piping street from VOPAK Tank Terminal to the jetty in Eemshaven. Our client is a specialist in construction and piping. For this project we supply welders.
